For those who don’t known, coolsculpting freezes excess fat and helps remove stubborn fatty tissues.

Here are some very popular comfort foods and how you can keep them diet friendly.

Steak and Potatoes

When choosing a cut of meat, go for a sirloin cut or an inside round cut, as they have less saturated fat than other cuts of meat. Try to stay away from rib eyes and porterhouses as they are the worse cuts of meat for a diet. When making mashed potatoes, use skim milk or fat-free sour cream. Or better yet, use sweet potatoes instead of regular white potatoes for your potato craving. Try some sweet potatoes with a little bit of cinnamon and light butter spread. Or you can even try to mash up cooked cauliflower to resemble mashed potatoes as they have will have the same texture as the potatoes.

Macaroni and Cheese

To make macaroni and cheese diet friendly, substitute the real butter for light butter spread and the whole milk for skim milk. Or you can even skip all the butter all together. If you make your own homemade macaroni and cheese, use whole wheat noodles instead of regular noodles, as the whole wheat noodles contain more fiber and will fill you up faster. Many grocery stores also have macaroni and cheese in a box that is already made with whole grain or whole wheat noodles. Look for one of those instead of the normal macaroni in a box.

Meatloaf

When choosing the ground meat for your meatloaf, choose the leanest meat available to you. This will help cut back on the fat and grease in the meat. Add some sautéed vegetables to your meatloaf to make it more filling and healthier. Use onion, green pepper, red pepper, and zucchini in the meatloaf or whatever vegetables that you like. Use different kinds of seasonings such as garlic, oregano, and parsley to flavor the meatloaf. Skip the ketchup, as it contains extra sugar that you don’t need on your diet.

Chicken Noodle Soup

If you make your own chicken noodle soup, use the lesser sodium chicken broths for your soup. Make sure that you only use the white meat of the chicken. Again, use whole wheat or whole grain noodles to make the soup more filling. The key to making chicken noodle soup diet friendly is to pack on the vegetables. You should have more vegetables than noodles and chicken in the soup. Add onions, carrots, celery, and avoid the potatoes.
